The Kids and Teenagers Chore Chart really does help with harmony in the home, but not always from day 1.
Usually our children rebel at the thought of being asked to do anything around the home, and if it looks like you’re going to be asking them to do even more and have some physical remainder of what they have to do and a system to show when they’ve done it, then depending on your household, you could be in for a bit of a storm before the calm sets in.
Once your chore chart becomes accepted (and usually it will), then the kids settle down and even enjoy marking their jobs as completed or trading chores with their siblings.
